The coin commemorates the 20th anniversary of Slovakia's membership of the OECD.
The motif of the coin is interesting - it shows the digitalisation of humanity - this is achieved by showing many connections on a computer circuit board that is shown in the shape of a human brain. In the middle of the brain we see a circle that is supposed to represent a microprocessor. This occupies mainly the upper left quadrant of the coin's inner circle.
Partly overlapping the brain image is a square within which is the inscription "20 VÝROČIE VSTUP SR DO OECD” which means "20th anniversary of Slovakia's accession to the OECD"
Directly under the square we see the issuing country and the year of issue - SLOVENSKO 2020.
On the edge of the inner circle at four o'clock is the Slovakian coat of arms - a double cross on top of a hill, all within a shield.
Finally on the edge of the inner circle at nine o'clock are the mint mark and thereunder a stylised ligature of the designer's initials PV.
