This coin commemorates the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of the Slovakian Republic.

A very interesting and attractive coin.

In the inner circle is a portal which arches over a map of Slovakia. Within the portal and over the map of Slovakia is the Euro symbol and a section of the twelve stars of the EU. All of this of course represents the entry of Slovakia into the EU and the Euro zone.

Just outside of the portal at ten o’clock is the Slovakian coat of arms. Around the edge of the inner circle, from ten to five o’clock (running anti clockwise) is the country designation “SLOVENSKA REPUBLIKA” in bold script.

Within the portal and immediately under the map of Slovakia, are from left to right, the mint mark and the mark of the designer. Beneath these and still within the portal are the date of the establishment of the Slovakian Republic and the year of issue – 1.1,1993 2018.
