This coin celebrates the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.

The Charter of the United Nations was finalized at the Yalta Conference and signed by 50 states on June 26, 1945.

Motif of the coin:

At the bottom of the inner circle the entire inhabited world is shown in projection. This is framed within two olive branches which of course symbolize peace.

At the top of the inner circle are the year of issue and the issuing country - "2020" and "PORTUGAL".

Below the above inscriptions the commemorated event is shown in English and Portuguese.
