Finland, with this coin, has become the fourth country to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the universal declaration of human rights – the others were Belgium, Portugal and Italy.

The motif within the inner circle shows a person seen through heart shaped hole in a stone wall.

The text “HUMAN RIGHTS” is inscribed under the heart.

The year of issue 2008 is seen at the top of the inner circle and the county designation FI is seen at seven o’clock.
