This coin commemorates the 15th Anniversary of Andorra's joining the "Ibero-American General Secretariat" as well as the holding of the bi-annual summit of the Secritariat in Soldeu Andorra.

The aim of this association is to promote cooperation, coordination and solidarity between the member states.

The motif of the coin shows a stylized tree, the left side of which is formed by human silhouettes and the right side of which consists of many gear wheels.

The silhouettes symbolize the integration of society and the gears the energy of foward movement to be generated at the summit.

In the bottom right corner of the coin is the logo of the summit - the upper rightsection of the logo shows three sections, these representing the colours of the Andorran flag - the bottom left section of the logo shows six sections and these represent the openness of Andorra to the goals for development.

Around the edge of the inner circle, running from seven o'clock to one o'clock is the inscription "XXVII CIMERA IBEROAMERICANA" (27th Ibero-america Summit).
